Has anyone run into and resolved issues with the software parsing email sent with Apple Mail?

For some reason, when a message is sent in from Apple Mail, its posting both the ascii version of the email, as well as the encoded part (including any attachment in full ascii) and does not parse out the attachment itself. Huh

Apple Mail attaches files in a manner that even Outlook and Thunderbird cannot read.

My philosophy on that on is that Apple Mail (aka MacMail) is not adhering to some standards in order to allow Mac users to do some of the things that they can do.

I have seen problems with MacMail, but because it's only with MacMail and not any other email application, I've never looked to deep into the problem.  Especially because, like I said, there are emails that I've received from Mac users using MacMail that cannot be read in Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, and even Horde (on a few occasions).

Apple Mail has a mode by which you can opt to send attachments as a Windows friendly attachment (or set this as the default as well) - this overcomes the issue you mention.

However, even this doesn't resolve the problem.

What type of encoding is eTicket looking for in an email?    I've tweaked my Apple Mail enough that nobody else I know is having problems with attachments or messages that I send with the single exception of eTicket.

I have ACN members contacting us all of the time via Apple Mail.  There has to be some fundamental problem that is being overlooked.
