How can I change the FROM field of the automatics emails, to be something different than the category?

For example I have a category Support and all the replays from support are  send as Support <support@XXX.com> , but I want it to change it to Support XXX <support@ XXX.com> without changing the name of the category.

I tried to add the XXX in the field email in the admin section -> category putting something like this XXX <support@XXX.com> will result in Support <XXX <support@XXX.com...

Is there a way to do this?

Not in the current 1.7.3 version that does not require you do some pretty significant modification to the code.
