I need a possibility (sure, I can hack it :) to define set a POP3 account with SSL.

In PHP this should work with (see hxxp: php. net/manual/de/function. imap-open. php)

$mbox = imap_open ("{localhost:995/pop3/ssl/novalidate-cert}", "user_id", "password");

So, you would have to extend the form with a SSL option and a port.  Then the modification in automail. php would be easy.
