There have been pretty significant changes in eTicket 1.7; changes that had to be made, so we bit the bullet, implemented them and once you go through the initial brain damage (honestly, it's not that difficult, I'm exaggerating) of the upgrade, it's smooth sailing from then on.

A couple of tidbits:

  • Make sure that your current theme, if you're not using the default eTicket theme, is compatible with the new themes style. Not sure? Simply select the default theme from preferences, go to 'main' and look at ticket status. Most likely you'll see the proper status of each ticket. If that's the case, compare the default them to your theme, and make the appropriate changes so that your status' are all correct.
  • The 'view' option in main is just for sorting. If your ticket status is 'not right' after install, check the theme as I described above. Don't panic and blame mySQL or think there is file corruption, and don't revert to the old database.. check your theme!

If you've reverted to the default theme in 1.7 and still have errors in views, then please let us know and we'll take a look at your installation. We did thoroughly test this release, and do not expect any significant problems.
