Hi all,
After reading and trying a few solutions as kevinmeininger (http://www.eticketsupport.com/solved_eticket_172_problems_with_pop3_mail_method-t233.0.html;msg974;topicseen)  I couldn’t solve my problem.

I’m having problems with getting the emails from Google Apps. This is what I did after installing eTicket

1. - I create an account in Google apps support@someserver.com

2. - I login with the account and enable pop and IMAP in google apps  (Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded) AND When messages are accessed with POP archive a copy.)

3. - On eTicket > Categories > (select category Support)
• Real Name: Support
• POP3 Host: pop.gmail.com:995/ssl
• POP3 Username: support@someserver.com
• POP3 Password: *****
• Email: support@someserver.com

4. - I create a cron job in my hosting CPanel.
Details:
Minute Hour     Day     Month  Weekday     Command
   0   *   *   *   *      php -q /home/someserver/public_html/support/automail.php
/*this is what I see from the view in cPanel.*/

This is the error from the cron job

Unable to open mailbox for category Support: Can't connect to gmail-pop.l.google.com,995: Connection timed out

Creating and replying regular tickets WORKS PERFECT, the problem is that it doesn’t fetch the emails send to support@someserver.com and transform them into tickets.
Thanks in advance

Make sure your settings are correct. I'm noticing that what you put in as the mail server address is diffrent from what the error says.

aside from the last post reply, your username only needs to contain what you use to login

Correct: username
Incorrect: username@someserver.com

I use google apps myself and i've setup some site applications to use the pop mail system that google apps use

I think thats google translation of the server address.

Correct: username
Incorrect: username@someserver.com

About this, for Google the user is the full email address. I test this configuring the account on Outlook and all the settings are OK.

Any other idea?

The internal server error is something wrong with apache and PHP. Try looking around teh error log.
