Hey every one.

First of all Happy New Year to all in here.

I have a problem with the mails eticket sent's out, the problem is the danish special letters.

I have installed the danish language.

Here are the Troubleshooter log

    * PHP version: 5.2.0-8+etch13 (Should be PHP 5.0.0 or above)
    * PHP Safe Mode is off
    * eTicket version: 1.7.3
    * Webserver: Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) mod_python/3.2.10 Python/2.4.4 PHP/5.2.0-8+etch13 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8c mod_perl/2.0.2 Perl/v5.8.8
    * Database: MySQL 5.0.32-Debian_7etch8 (Should be MySQL 4.1 or above)
    * GD version: 2.0 or higher
    * Multibyte String is installed
    * iconv version: 2.3.6
    * IMAP is installed
    * Socket support enabled.
    * User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; da; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5
    * Character set: UTF-8

btw it's a host web server so I don't have access på php.ini and all that files

Check with your hosting provider.  You may be able to make certain php.ini changes.

Mine allows you to put a php.ini file in any directory in which you want to override the default php.ini settings.  There are a few you cannot override, but it's certainly worth looking into.

Also, have you contacted the maker of the Danish language set?  Additional languages are provided by community members and are therefore not part of the actual eTicket development team's process.  You may get some insight from the Danish language writer.

Yes, that's correct. But if you reply to that topic, he'll get an email.  It's always worth a shot.

What is it I shoud write in a new php.ini file?

I'm not sure if making any changes to the php.ini file would resolve this issue.  I was simply making the comment that you may actually be able to make changes.  It would just be useful to have that information in your arsenal.

I would still advise replying to the Danish writer to see if he has had the same problem or if he was able to work around that by making some change.
