I have osTicket(V1.6 RC4) on a fedora server. The file location of the install is

var/www/html/osticket

which contains the two main folders scripts and upload.

the database is name osticket.

I noticed that the FAQ upgrade stated

Upgrading has been tested with osTicket v1.3.x, but should work from osTicket v1.2 and above without a problem.

so I assume it will work

If you ARE upgrading, (backup: attachements, settings.php and automail-settings.pl FIRST), remove all files and folders, upload the new ones, and finally restore any files you backed up.

I just set this up about two weeks ago so I don't have any attachments
Is automail.pl which is located in scripts then same as automail-setting.pl ?

I can't find the settings.php file, does anyone know the name and location of this file with this version.

Can I rename the main folder to eticket before the upgrade?
