this isn't your basic problem as i've had people with serious linux / server / programming experience take a look and they could not resolve.

Well, being that you've posted into the "Paid Installation" board, did you pay to install eTicket?

Furthermore, what are the problems that you're having?

I am posting here to find out about having help installing, yes, since my installation is not working properly.

As to the problems I am having, quite simply, the pipe is not working. Also there are a string of initialization errors for variables that show up when we turn error reporting on. I haven't really seen an explanation for this in the forums that seems to apply to me, so I'm assuming I've got some weirdo thing going on.

I can use the 'user interface' side of the application (when error reporting is turned off) and manually create tickets and change ticket statuses just fine.

The email response I get back goes something like this:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

 pipe to |/home/blahblah/public_html/eTicket/pipe.php
   generated by blah@blahblah.com
   local delivery failed

It might be something more is wrong with my server, tho everything else does appear to be working without a problem.

If you instant message me with your rates I'd like to try to work something out.

Thanks

The messages that you see when error reporting is on is normal.  I get them too.  Many are false-positives.

Glad to hear that you got it working.  If I might inquire, what resolved the pipe issue?  This could help others in the community.
