Displaying Messages & Answers on the Main page

Hi. Thanks for the great software. I am trying to do some modifications based on our needs. Here is a modification I am trying to do and need some help.
If I want to display the communication (messages and answers) with customers for each ticket in a separate column on the main page (admin.php), next to let's say 'Status', how do I proceed with that?
I have already added another column 'Messages' in vars.html.php but don't know what code to use to display the entire communication.
Would I have to modify the code in inc/main.php or in inc/viewticket.php or do it some other way?
I am stuck and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Frank

admin.php is every page that eTicket uses. You would have to explain this a bit more and include the a= what you want to do this on. It seems a bit weird to display the communication since you can view it in the viewticket.

I could understand this situation and need because we use this as a ticket system for our school. I've changed several items to fit our needs but I keep getting complaints about looking at the reports (we print out the summary list of work orders) because they don't list then entire action on the page.
These techs are coming from a workorder system that was written in fox pro that shows the entire action list of the ticket on the print outs. I'm going to spend today researching it and I'll get back to this thread with anything I find.
As for an example:
Initial Post: Monitor has no signal. Problem since the 12th.
1st Reply: Issue checked out; seems to be a vga plug, will order one. (ticket on hold)
2nd Reply: Replaced vga plug but monitor still doesn't function.
If this entire transcription could be posted on the ticket list; I know it would be cumbersome for display but it would be nice for a printed summary.
I'll let you know what I can find out. Not great with sql/php but not horrible either...

Oh that would totally be custom. I know if I had that displayed it would take about 30 minutes to pull the data from SQL. I can tell you that no system has this feature because its too ugly to display.

I agree, with over 3,000 tickets on my install (we've been using eTicket for a long time now), it takes almost 45 seconds just to load the closed tickets page with 25 tickets per page. I could only imagine what this would cause to our load time.
