Where is V2?    Can the community get a status update?  I have server space to be able to beta test and bug test as well as a extensive database to check importation.

I agree -- I haven't heard of a status update in a while either.

I haven't been back here in a long time and am very surprised to find nothing has changed!
We still run 1.5.7 (I think) and it does the job for us.

Makes you wonder with the lack of comment from these guys whether it is still being worked on?

Apparently a lot has changed since you've been here.  1.5.7 was updated many times to what is now 1.7.3.  I'm not saying that you need to update, if it works for you they why change it?  That also begs the question of why are you waiting for version 2 when you haven't updated your current version to the latest available?  Making the upgrade jump from 1.7.3 to 2.0 will be easier than from 1.5.9 to 2.0.  I can assure you of that.

If you also note, the developers of eTicket also develop Help Center Live, which they have not commented on those forums for a while as well.  Are you suggesting that the lack of comment here, and presumably the lack of comment there, means that they've dropped development of both products? Not likely.

If you believe that writing software is so very simple, please, help us out!  Two developers and a moderator is just not enough to meet the demand.  Jason has been asking for help for almost a year now and so far only myself and one other have even stepped forward for eTicket.

Didn't say they weren't doing anything!

However they have been 'beta' testing for how long now?  And you have been helping them beta test also I take it?  Public beta is how far away? (last year sometime I think)

I'm fully aware of 1.7.3 and have tested a copy of it, but due to lack of necessity I haven't changed our system over to it.

There are plenty of people around to help them, and my point is that their updates have dwindled somewhat and we wonder when we can help them test the new version.

Anyway when the developer's comments do drop off and they have indicated the availability of the next version in the past, you must wonder what is going on?

V2 is coming along stil we havn't forgotten about it. I had some family issues that came up and I unfortunally have most of the bugs and issues in my head. So no work was able to be done. I'm back now and I'm starting back up on V2.

good to hear you are back to work!
we are all eagerly awaiting v2 - is there any special reason for a non-public repository for the development code?
Would be nice to have a look Shocked)

And I'm just the moderator of the forums...I do not write eTicket at all.
